I personally can't wait for the DVD release of STAR TREK next month, so here's a refreshing goody, which I hope will be included on it, to make the wait less painful.

The folks from Collider pointed out a 6-minute gag reel that found its way on the net, showing lots of dancing along with the obligatory line-flubbering. And what Spock would sound like as a Scotsman. I gotta say I feel for Zachary Quinto; mustn't be easy to deliver tech babble seriously when you got Simon Pegg staring at you.

Here's that vid right down there for your enjoyment. The film comes on store shelves November 17.

The bit with Abrams and the mics had me in stitches - so random. This looks like it was a blast to be on set for. Can't wait for the DVD release now!

I still wonder what Quinto sounds like as a Scotsman considering he was putting on the most obvious (/bad) Irish accent I've ever heard! (It was still better than Diaz's in GONY, though)
