Since you're likely more than just a casual movie fan, you're probably well aware that the filmmaking process is anything but easy. It takes a ton of time, effort and resources, and while some shoots go relatively smooth, others can be downright disastrous.

CNN recently compiled a Top 10 list of "Movie Shoots from Hell", and the reasons why they achieved that dubious honor.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the notoriously unlucky Terry Gilliam made the list, as well as adventurous filmmaker Werner Herzog (twice), who famously threatened to kill actor Klaus Kinski if he left the set of AGUIRRE, THE WRATH OF GOD.

Obviously THE CROW also made the list, for spelling the tragic end to Brandon Lee's career. Check out the rest RIGHT HERE.

Extra Tidbit: Any other nightmare shoots you can think of that deserve mention?

Where are you getting your info? 1) Hellboy 3 hasn't even been written
2) Snipes is defienitly not apart of it.
3) I can't take the word of someone who doesn't know the difference between Hellboy and Blade...

Absolutely, they should've mentioned "The Exorcist." That many deaths is not normal.

And Jason Robards and Mick Jagger were supposed to be in Fitzcarraldo? That would've been awesome (you're never gonna convince me Klause Kinski was an Irishman, Conquistador, maybe).

I'd say....
Alone in the Dark should be on this list, because during that shoot, they shot the film Alone in the Dark.

Ocean's 12
I've always wondered if Ocean's 12 somehow suffered from Bernie Mac's illness on top of the fact he had pneumonia... I think it's on the Blu-Ray commentary, Soderbergh talks about how he was sick in the bathroom half the time, so I wonder if they had to do rewrites because of it.

Imaginarium...
Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus had Heath die during filming.

Someone was also killed in the Chariot race in Ben-Hur.

Shouldnt this read "for spelling the tragic end to Brandon Lee's life" instead of "career?" There is more to one's life than an acting career guys, come on.
