Strike Back below!
by: Mike Sampson Oct. 16, 2009

I sadly missed the LEGION panel at Comic-Con but caught the footage online and freakin' loved it. Crazy old ladies, creepy ice cream men and angels fighting to the death.

We're excited today to debut not one, not two but SIX new character banners from LEGION! Though they're each separate pieces of art, they run together highlight a quote from Matthew 13:49:

So it will be at the end of the age the angels will come forth to take out the wicked and throw them into the furnace of fire.

In the posters below, we see Dennis Quaid, Adrianne Palicki, Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Tyrese and Kevin Durand. Bettany stars as the archangel Michael who must stop another angel, Gabriel, from bringing about the apocalypse while humanity's last hope lies in a desert diner. LEGION hits theaters on January 22 and you can check out the six character banners below!

This movie may suck, but...
...those posters of Bettany and Durand kick fucking ass! These angels would make Eric Stoltz from The Prophecy their little bitch.

I agree with girlcreeture...
The trailer is so unintentionally funny that every time I see it with an audience the laughter is abound.

Though I'm not one to watch "so bad they're good" movies in a theater, so I'll be skipping this. Might be fun to watch while drunk and with friends when it comes to cable.

"You're right Moe. You're always Moe." is really all I have to say.

Saw the trailer for this ahead of Zombieland last week and while I'm still pretty stoked to see it, from the trailer, Legion seriously looks to be a shoo-in for most UNintentionally funny movie of the year... It just came off as if it's gonna take itself WAY too seriously for half the antics onscreen to be seen as anything but laffs. Then again hey, I'm all about laffs so win-win for me!

Am I the only one that thinks this movie looks completely retarded? It could be fun in a really stupid kind of way, but when I saw the trailer, the entire theater burst out laughing when that old lady turned into a demon. Not a good sign. XD

This movie looks so mind numbingly stupid that I can't believe it's actually getting a theatrical release. It just has 'direct to DVD' or 'sci-fi (sy-fy) original' written all over it.

seen clips of this that didn't look too bad, though you wouldn't want to be the actor who got stuck on the poster with "and throw them into..." as the tag line - all the others kinda work on their own.

This movie...
This movie looks like a writer said to his buddy. Hey check this out, they actually greenlit this shit. Yeah, I can't believe it either, we were so wasted when we wrote this piece of garbage after watching constantine.

I don't know how this movie is going to turn out, but I find your statement ironic when you've named yourself after the villain of the Saw films...
