If you were looking for James McAvoy and Evan Rachel Wood in costume, then you've come to the right place.

As you guys might already know it is in fact a slow news day, but I think any information on a Lincoln assassination story is well worth the time. Also the fact that Robert Redford is directing it. The film is called THE CONSPIRATOR, and is based on Mary Surratt (Robin Wright Penn) who was accused of being an accomplice in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. McAvoy plays Frederick Aiken, the attorney that reluctantly defends Surratt.

Wood had just recently joined the cast to play Surratt's daughter, Anna. It was also decided that Toby Kebbell would be taking the minor role of John Wilkes Booth. Kebbell played the drugged up, reclusive star Johnny Quid in the seemingly unpopular ROCKNROLLA. Interesting choice in my opinion, but a good one. Our man Alex Keen told me to see CONTROL, which Kebbell apparently does great in.

With Redford directing this could be a hit or miss. This movie has potential to be quite interesting especially since Justin Long was cast. Enjoy McAvoy's sexy beard.
