There were rumors for a while that a new "quirky" adaptation of Jane Austen's SENSE & SENSIBILITY was in the works so I've been eagerly keeping my ear to the ground in hopes it would be about that Sea Monsters version. But all I heard down there was a train wreck approaching, 'cause it ain't about sea monsters, it's about Fez from That 70's Show...
PRADA OR NADA will re-tell the author's Sense & Sensibility story in a (sigh) whimsical romantic comedy fashion to be written and directed by WOMEN ON TOP helmer Fina Torres. The story will be transposed in (double sigh) modern-day Los Angeles and follow two spoiled brats sisters who must find money and (siiiiiiigh) love following the death of their father.
Good thing is it'll star that cute Camilla Bell, along with former kiddie-spy Alexa Vega and (si...never mind) Wilmer Valderrama. Lionsgate backs it up for a November production start.
Extra Tidbit:
If Hyde from That 70's Show is in there as well, then I'm all for it. Mila Kunis wouldn't hurt either.
