While I don't count myself among them, BOONDOCK SAINTS certainly seems to have a dedicated and excitable fanbase.

So the first five-and-a-half minutes of the long-awaited sequel BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS DAY (opening this weekend) should cause a frenzy of exhilaration from the hardcore followers of the McManus brothers and their latest crusade on Beantown crime.

While I can't watch this clip because I'm at work right now, I do have to point out that if you go back and re-watch the first film after not seeing it for a long time, there's a lot of awkward choices going on in the way that film was put together too.

Looks Great!
Although I can understand why most people aren't too excited I have to say that I loved it! It seems like a natural continuation of the first, a camp, over the top, fun movie. I think it'll be great!!

That music was terrible. I thought I remembered the first one at least having decent music.

I wasn't expecting this to be good and now I'm definitely not expecting this to be good. Yet for some morbid reason I will still stay neutral on this...for now.

The first one was decent, with some nice ideas, and Dafoe is always great to watch.
This thing just looks like crap. It's not even awfully good, it just looks bad. Bad acting, even from Conolly, bad writing .. . just all around bad.
