Absolutely no secret that I'm jonesing like hell to see what Robert Rodriguez has in store for us with his full-length MACHETE, and one of those things in store is Jessica Alba as a ruthless manhunter. And surely a damn good-looking one too.

Folks lucky enough to attend this year's American Film Market currently raging in Santa Monica were treated to a life-size promo poster featuring Jess looking like... well not really like Jess, but who cares, it's MACHETE and she's hot anyway.

The fantasy-inducing lady plays an "ICE" agent called Sartana, bent on capturing the tattooed Mexican. Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Rodriguez, Jeff Fahey, and Bobby De Niro join the fun, and so will we next April. Extra Tidbit: Glad to see a director giving Jeff Fahey some love; he was awesome in Rodriguez's PLANET TERROR. Dude is way underrated.

THE MAN!
Yeah, Jeff Fahey is probably ONE of the most underrated actors around. Right up there with Robert Patrick, Michael Madsen, Michael Ironside and Robert Forster. They've all done a lot of fluff(OK, some crap!)but ALWAYS worth a watch. Fahey at his best in a short lived TV series THE MARSHAL as Winston McBride. Always, THE MAN!

Alba will always look hot no matter what... she's a mom for goodness-sake! I hope this film follows in the tone and feel of the Grindhouse double feature and I'm bought.

As long as RR doesn't shoot this film with over used aged film look am ok. It was hard to keep track of PT movie when the artificial colour filterations was a real bother.

Holy Shit, This is Really Happening?
I suppose I just figured that since Tarantino was involved with the whole Grindhouse affair, that any rumors about spinoffs or follow ups wouldn't come to fruition for at least 10 years, but this is incredible news! I can't wait for this!
