Gwyneth's got diarrhea

Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman playing lovers, sounds intriguing right? Even better when LET THE RIGHT ONE IN helmer Tomas Alfredson is behind it.

Where it get possibly creepy though is having Kidman play a dude... Prosthetic-nose time again? It kinda Oscar-worked the last time... Gwyneth joins THE DANISH GIRL, produced by Kidman herself through her Blossom Films shingle and based on the novel by David Ebershoff.

The story concerns a relationship between the first post-operative transsexual, Einar Wegener, and his wife Greta who triggered his self discovery after asking him to dress in drag for a portrait she was doing. Then he started wearing her clothes and the mother of all catfights ensued until someone's head ended up in a box. Guess whose?

Extra Tidbit: Without looking it up, who here can name the first woman to win an Oscar for playing a man?

"The Year of Living Dangerously". She played a photojournalist I believe. I think it was back in the late 80's. I want to say 87, but I'm not sure.

Hilary Swank count for BOYS DON'T CRY. Either way, brilliant performance.

That sounds like a role Kidman could pull off, and I think she'd work well with Paltrow. But thats just my two cents, I like both actresses when given the right material.

Hmm and I think the answer is ...
