Boll's Far Cry trailer

Uwe Boll is a busy man these days. The range of his projects we've seen over the past few months has been pretty wide sweeping with a surprisingly well-received shoot-em-up in the form of RAMPAGE then an attempt at going serious with a DARFUR movie. His latest, however, is a glorious return to the Uwe Boll we all know and despise: the guy how makes shitty video game movies.

FAR CRY is a decently fun PC sandbox shooter game, this however, does not mean it translates into a film with any degree of success. But that didn’t stop Boll from making BLOODRAYNE, POSTAL, ALONE IN THE DARK and DUNGEON SIEGE now did it?

From the trailer, seen here via IGN, it looks like RAMBO with a much, much less memorable lead, and an equally flimsy script to go along with it. But nice, um, explosions I guess? Check it out below and take bets on whether or not this actually gets to theaters.

I saw this movie in germany over a year ago.

And this was actually just for fun. We knew the movie would suck balls and it actually surpassed our expectations in every way. Til is a terrible actor in most of his movies. Um...
...Why did you have to go and mention a 'Legend of Zelda' movie in a Uwe Boll article? I would someday love to see a 'Zelda' flick, and although I know it won't be as good as I would like it to be, I'd at least be much happier knowing that Boll won't be putting his filthy paws on it.

That's too bad
the storyline was one of the better things in the new Far Cry. It actually could have been an interesting flick, if they hadn't been whores and sold it to the lowest bidding director.

This movie has been on DVD quite a while already in the u.k it's actualy not bad! pretty cool action movie! Cant wait to see Rampage.

I'm probably alone in being a minor fan of Uwe Boll. Aside from the fact that he read and reviewed one of my screenplays and gave me some good advice, I really dug House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark.

You need to watch some real films. Period. I know how pretentious that makes me sound, but I honestly feel that if you actually like these movies, you are not a movie fan/buff/lover and do not watch real movies.
