When we first told you about this right here, I was a little skeptical about what kind of direction the makers of VAN HELSING were going with their audience selection. Let's face it, this flick has Saturday morning cartoon written all over it. Now that the trailer has hit, I still don't know what to think. There's some genuinely creepy visuals, but they're kind of lost in the mix of all the huge CGI special effects. Anyway, Animated Bliss has scored the cover for the new animated prequel, VAN HELSING: The London Assignment, that comes out on DVD May 11th, four days after the main attraction hits theatres. The cartoon runs about 30 minutes and features the voice of Hugh Jackman. Extras will include interviews with cast and crew and a special look into the special effects of the movie. Take a look,

In other HELSING news, Ain't it Cool News has received a couple of reviews for the first ten minutes of the film that screened at the Munich Film Week. You can take a look here and here. Be warned, details include a major spoiler about one of VAN HELSING's surprise enemies.
