Walking around this 12-day festival, I saw a lot of
shitty movie pitches, posters, pictures, but I also saw some pretty
decent up-and-coming stuff, some of which you can check out below
(the shitty stuff is below it). Excuse the photo quality, but I did
the best I could with what I had (which wasn't much) As per usual,
click any of the pics below to ENLARGE....

SHIT YOU WILL LIKELY NEVER SEE

If you can tell the difference between these so-called movie
posters, I'll give you a dollar. My favorite part of both posters?
The "credits not contractual" disclaimer at the
bottom. Have they even shot these films???

"Fight. Dance. Love." Not necessarily in that
order.

Not since DeNiro and Pacino's showdown in HEAT has there been such
"buzz" about acting luminaries joining forces for a motion
picture. Van Dein. Rooker. Skeleton Man! Be there or be an asshole.

Starring Ernest Borgnine and Bobb Hopkins. Not Bob Hoskins....Bobb
Hopkins. Don't ask, man...just dig the lamest tagline of
all-time: "Revenge never tasted so sweet"

And you thought Harvey Keitel's BAD LIEUTENANT was a bad cop, check
out this guy!!! Instead of masturbating to some teens in Jersey,
this guy apparently pulls a "golden shower" on some
mallrats from Pakoopsie. Great tagline: "Minding other
people's business!"

The answer to the eternal question: "What ever happened to that
other guy from TITANIC?" Es tu, Billy Zane?

About 70% of the movies attempting to find homes at the Cannes
marketplace this year were for either "zombie" or
"shark" movies. This film takes the trend of reality TV
and mixes it with the trend of zombie movies. Fascinating!

They're not pissed, folks. They're not just angry or miffed or
peeved or impatient. These fuckin' sharks are RAAAAAAAGING!!!
Sign...me...up.

Hmmmm, doesn't remind me of any other famous movie posters, that's
for sure. Who's the Cannes Jury President this year? Quentin
Tarantino, you say? Hmmmm....BAD EGGS, indeed.

For some people, co-starring in films like X-MEN and UNDERWORLD
would be a good career move. For others...well...

Michael Rooker as...The Eliminator! 'Nuff said.

No joke can be as funny as the fact that Jean-Claude Van Damme is
still making movies today. And directing some of them too!!

Let's see: CHINATOWN, BONNIE & CLYDE, NETWORK...EL PADRINO???
Makes sense to me. Click the poster to really get a sense of how
little money Faye Dunaway apparently has left in her bank account.

You can't really see it well, but this film has my favorite tagline
of the festival: "Big brother is no longer just
watching...he's killing!" Yeah, bitch!
