Life Aquatic poster!

It's been a good week for exclusives on JoBlo.com with the SKY CAPTAIN behind-the-scenes clip starting things off, followed by the FINAL CUT poster premiere, as well as the cover page for the PUNISHER DVD comic book yesterday. Well, today is the big enchilada for me with the "first look" look at the poster for Wes Anderson's next film entitled THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU. Believe it or not, Walt Disney is behind this film (and poster) and much like last week's THE LAST SHOT, which was also quite the kick-ass one-sheet, I for one, am quite impressed with this poster as well. It's nice to see that one studio isn't afraid to steer clear of the "floating heads" concept for every other poster. Great job! It's also to note that the second half of the year looks pretty sweet for Mickey Mouse & Co, with the aforementioned poke at Hollywood, THE LAST SHOT, Anderson's next, as well as the highly anticipated THE INCREDIBLES, all coming out over the next few months. Heck, even Jerry Bruckheimer's re-teaming with Nic Cage in NATIONAL TREASURE might be the perfect fall popcorn fodder. Anyhoo, check out the groovy poster below...
