I really can't say too much about a movie that I
haven't yet seen myself, but my initial reaction of "meh"
for the September 24 release of THE
LAST SHOT has recently been replaced by "looking
forward to seeing this", so I guess that's something. Ever
since Disney released the film's ultra-cool poster,
I heard comparisons of it to THE PLAYER (which I didn't particularly
adore myself, but any movie about Hollywood usually gets me going)
and I switched my cast emphasis from Matthew Broderick and Calista
Flockhart to Alec Baldwin, Joan Cusack, Tony Shalhoub and Ray Liotta,
I've set my hopes a little higher on this one.
And today we scooped these 4 exclusive clips from the movie, 2 of which feature
Toni Collette playing a spoiled actress and 2 of which feature the
very funny (trust me, check them out), Joan Cusack playing an aging,
but tough-as-nails, producer, which definitely make the film look a
heck of a lot cooler than its lame-o original trailer did (damn you,
MPAA!) Each clip lasts about a minute and a big thank you to 'Clifford'
for the goodies. Now check 'em out before someone calls my house as
asks me to take them down...hehehe.
