Superhero Hype just recently ran a story where they mentioned that they'd received word from an anonymous source that a major HULK 2 announcement was imminent. The scooper (who for fun I'll call Keyser Soze) mentioned that Michael France (who worked on the screenplay for the original HULK) had once again been called in to write a draft for the sequel. Keyser Soze further mentioned that the second movie will feature the not-so-jolly green giant in a more "superhero" role. It seems that one of Soze's claims have been debunked by the cool folks over at IGN Film Force. They sent us word that they've checked with reliable sources and confirmed that Michael France is not writing the sequel.

From a not-so-jolly green giant in purple shorts to a happy-go-lucky Kryptonian in red and blue tights. That's right, it's SUPERMAN time again. Inland Empire Strikes Back is reporting that they've checked with a couple of "very inside" sources and learned that Jim Caviezel will, in fact, not be playing the Man of Steel. According to their insider, the movie sees Ka-El "right out of college", making Jim Caviezel a weebit too old for the part. Could this mean that Tom Welling could, in fact, be playing Supes? We'll just have to wait and see.

Milla Jovovich recently spoke to Sci-Fi Wire and gave a few details about her foray into comic moviedom. She just recently wrapped shooting on ULTRAVIOLET, the story of a world at war between those infected with a virus that turns them into a "vampire-like" creatures and those who aren't. Jovovich plays the title role as a member of the infected bunch. She mentioned that bombs strapped to her chest, a nine year old boy and 36 hours of life all come into play at some point but not necessarily in that order. Check out the interview HERE. She also spoke to Wire about her upcoming RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE, which you can peruse over HERE.

Finally, just as an addendum to yesterday's story about the possibility of Joss Whedon directing X3, Moviehole's "Clint in Hollywood" is reporting that while chatting to a studio insider, he learned that the Buffy and Angel Guru is indeed set to lens the third installment. We can only hope that this is indeed true and that there'll be official confirmation of it soon.
