Longest Yard trailer
The trailer for Adam Sandler's upcoming THE LONGEST YARD recently
made its way over to MTV. The movie is, of course, a remake of the 1974 film starring Burt Reynolds and tells the story of prison inmates who form
a football team and challenge the prison guards. It co-stars Chris Rock, James Cromwell, Cloris Leachman, Tracy Morgan, Nelly and, that's right,
Burt Reynolds (thirty years later and still going strong, baby!). I haven't seen the original so I have no basis for comparison but, for me, the trailer is a
little underwhelming. However, it is just a trailer and Sandler always delivers in my book so I'm not too worried. I'm just glad they didn't pull a CARTER and give away the entire movie. Yes, I realize I've mentioned this
many times but it's something I feel needs to be mentioned again. I promise I'll only mention it ten or twelve more times, tops. Check out
