Strike Back below!

Despite it being almost a year away, New Line is aggressively promoting the historical epic THE NEW WORLD. Unfortunately for them, this year's Colin Farrell-led historical epic, ALEXANDER, pretty much tanked. But New Line is hoping that by creating early buzz for this film, it won't suffer the same consequences. THE NEW WORLD is directed by Terence Malick and follows the encounter of European and Native American cultures during the founding of the Jamestown Settlement in 1607 and is based on the legend of John Smith and Pocahontas. We've got a first look at the teaser poster for the film and you can check that out below. Also feel free to peruse the film's official website, which is awfully expansive for a movie that's many months off.
