Strike Back below!

Update: This is apparently not the exact teaser poster, according to the studio, so I guess we'll all have to wait and see when the "official" one comes out. Sorry about that.

While other filmmakers like Steven Zaillian are moving their Oscar movies out into next year (ALL THE KING'S MEN), the man for whom he wrote SCHINDLER'S LIST, Steven Spielberg, is putting the finishing touches on his 2nd big movie of this year alone (his first was WAR OF THE WORLDS, in case you were dead over the summer or something), called MUNICH, to be released on Christmas Day. Now thanks to the cool peeps over at MovieGoods, we get the first look at the teaser poster for that volatile film below. Click to enlarge or CLICK HERE to buy it over there right now (save 15% by using the Coupon# JBL315). Or CLICK HERE to buy the SUPERMAN RETURNS poster. The connection to this story? None.

Really looking forward to this
I'm really looking forward to Munich, I really enjoyed SS's first film of this year, War of the Worlds, and judging by the great cast and director of this, I reckon it could be a great hit.

I know this may sound stupid, but I thought it was Joaquin Phoenix on the poster when I first looked at it...go figure

whoa...
I saw a report on the whole thing not too long ago, it esp. focussed on the damage control and police operations and all the mistakes that were made (and there were zillions), e.g. snipers shooting their own people due to miscommunication and wrong positioning, etc.
It seems the movie starts where the report ends, which is a good thing I guess.

Hmm....
The poster is simple, but I actually think it looks cool. And I'm guessing that's Eric Bana on the poster, correct? Simple, but cool, in my opinion.

Speaking of "Munich," I'd like to know when the hell Spielberg is going to unleash a teaser trailer. Christmas is only a couple of months away.
