Strike Back below!
by: Omar Aviles Dec. 22, 2005

When Adam Sandler's upcoming high-concept comedy CLICK was announced, there was some trepidation about how well it would play out onscreen. This trepidation mostly involved me saying "I have some trepidation" because I'm not a studio exec so I have no idea if they were apprehensive about the movie in any way. Chances are they weren't and some would venture to say they don't give a rat's ass about an inconsequential nobody like me but those people are the media fearmongers who are trying to control your mind so do NOT believe everything they say. In it, Sandler stars as a man who's given a remote that can slow down, rewind, fast forward or stop his own life. Luckily, my apprehension has been alleviated (I told you they listen to me) because the trailer MTV recently premiered is surprisingly funny. Of course, the solid cast Sandler rounded up doesn't hurt either. Kate Beckinsale plays his wife, David Hasselhoff plays his egomaniacal boss and Christopher Walken plays the stranger who gives him the remote. Click on the poster below, which the always awesome ElderPredator got for us, to check out the trailer. It opens June 23rd.

Works for me and it looks pretty good. =)

It seems to blend Sandlers old movies and his newer, drama movies.

Having trouble?
If you're having trouble watching the trailer, then first click "Watch Videos" and then click "premiere trailer" on that page. It should work.

Can't get it to work either
Go to the trailer page, and they direct you to fuckin Laguna Beach advertisements. What the hell is wrong with some studios and their apprehension towards premiering trailers on Apple?

Doesn't Work
I can't get the trailer to play. I've tried in Firefox and IE. I'm convinced that MTV doens't actually host trailers, just advertisements and a blank screen afterward where the trailer supposed to go.

"Sponsored by..." these nuts.
