If you've always wanted to be in a big Hollywood movie but your addiction to cheeseburgers prevented you from doing so, here's your chance. David O Russell's THE FIGHTER--starring Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg--is looking for unpaid extras to fill the stands for some boxing scenes that will be shooting in Lowell, Massachusetts on July 14th, 15th and 16th. The filmmakers will be providing free parking, and raffle prizes for CDs, DVDs, and Gift Cards and the scenes being shot are said to feature both Bale and Wahlberg.
THE FIGHTER takes a look at boxer "Irish" Micky Ward's (Wahlberg) unlikely road to the world light welterweight title with the help of his half-brother Dicky (Bale), a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded after a life of drugs and crime. Amy Adams also stars. To join the fun visit BeInAMovie.com--who knows with the volatile Russell and the potty-mouthed Bale both on set, you may get to witness some--ahem--fireworks.
