Spidey 3 to me is not as bad as these fanboys makes it out to be..the only parts that bothered me too much with Mary Jane...emo Peter..the horrfic dance sequence..maybe Harry was handled too quickly..delete or reduce ...

As for villains considering Dr. Curt Conners has been in every movie you gotta have Lizard..& perhaps Vulture as well..no reboots nedeed anymore...with comic films i think the standars nowadays should be a trilogy and nothing more becuz you simply cant please everyone hence the mistakes of X3 and Spidey 3..lets hope they do it right for Iron Man sequels and future Marvel properties.

...was a disappointment compared to the first two, but it was not a "shitty movie". Ghost Rider was a "shitty movie", "Batman & Robin" was a "shitty movie". Catwoman was a "shitty movie". Hey guess what? There are waaaay more superhero films that are WORSE than Spidey 3 then there are that are better. I'm not saying its one of the best, far from it. I'm simply saying people have a disproportionate amount of hate toward it because of how good the first two were.

Oh, and as for villains I'd go for THe Lizard natch, and Mysterio if they include a second (Kraven is cool in the comics but I just don't think he'd be that impressive on screen).

Enough with the Spiderman 3 apologists. That movie was a piece of crap. Watch the part where "bad" Peter is walking down the street, then does a song and dance number again. GARBAGE. And they ruined Venom, period.

I had fun with Spiderman 3 as well. It had its share of flaws, but it wasn't absolutely horrible IMO. For what it was and what they were trying to do with their story (yes, "their story"since it's been apparent from the 1st film they weren't trying to be faithful to the comics) it worked well enough.

That being said, if they decide to 'reboot' with a 4th movie I'd be cool with it. Heck, even if they scrapped the entire cast I wouldn't complain. But if they absolutely have to keep Tobey, just don't give him any crying scenes. Ever. The guy can't do them, period.

The only scene I disliked was the crying-in-the-park because that Was fake, but apart from that I liked the movie from start to finish!

Lizard and Vulture with Ben Kingsley as the latter as it was originally intended for 3 before Avi Arad fucked it up. And yes they should get the original cast and crew back. It could be huge.

It worked wonders for the first two movies: it kept them simple in premise, but allowed Raimi and the cast to stretch and capitalize upon their material. First things first: while the series needs a new direction and look from new talent and fresh blood injected into it, it needs to go back to the basics that made the series popular and get its fanbase back onboard. "Spider-Man" can, like Bond or Star Trek, be a great serial series if handled right and it can keep on keepin' on. Here's to hoping for the best!

Also, let's remember that what was wrong with 3 was largely due to the STUDIO's interference (telling Raimi he had to rewrite the script to include Venom and Gwen Stacey). The Studio can mess things up no matter who's involved so we might as well trust it to someone who's already made two great films in the series, rather than a newcomer.

Tobey Maguire is great in the role, but the good ol' Parker bad luck is running thin. I really do think a move like killing off Mary Jane would work. Not many people care for Kirsten Dunst in the role anyway, while one of the few things fans liked about SM3 was Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy.

To me, Gwen Stacy's death in the comics really defines Spider-Man, and the films are sorely missing that kind of moment.
