Strike Back below!

The other day Bruno/Sacha Baron Cohen took part in the latest Digg Dialogg, a live interview where the questions are posed by Digg's millions of users. What separates this from a usual chat is that the moderator doesn't choose the questions, the Digg users do by "digging" them up (the highest rated questions get asked).

It was a gamble for someone like Cohen to take part of the interview in character at the risk of people trying to throw him off kilter and out of his Bruno schtick. But he gamely played along even answering, "What do you think of Sacha Baron Cohen?" It's interesting to see a somewhat scripted character launched into a live, unscripted interview but Cohen didn't lose a step, improving the entire way (and displaying a surprising knowledge of international politics). Check out the BRUNO edition of the Digg Dialogg below!

Extra Tidbit: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Trent Reznor have also participated in the Digg Dialogg series.

I noticed the things he says are pretty much what he says elsewhere, ie : when on conan, and jsut from the movie trailer. It would seem this character doesnt have as much riffing range as Borat did for him. He has canned material he can go to, but it isnt as crazy as Borat.

Hmmm
That was indeed funny. Unfortunately I think the Bruno character is best when its used in short improv skits like this. Sitting through an hour and a half of it will probably be painful.
