A couple of set pics from KICK ASS have hit the web that you can check out by clicking BELOW. In them we can see (hopefully) how faithful director Matthew Vaughn (LAYER CAKE) is staying to the source material. By all accounts KICK ASS should be awesome, so let's all stay positive for this one for now. I know Nic Cage has been in turd after turd but you gotta have a little faith.

What I'm wondering, though, is how they're going to stick a ten year-old girl in it who slices people up with katanas and curses like a sailor. Even hinting at something like that would probably cause the MPAA to explode into a fireball of 1950's American values.

I know Nic Cage has been in alot of crap movies in the past 20 years, or even his entire career. However, I thought the National Treasure movies were good times.
