Val Kilmer, Shane West (A WALK TO REMEMBER) and Cam Gigandet (NEVER BACK DOWN) have joined the cast of SILVER CORD, an indie picture to be directed by James Ordonez. The film will revolve around Ordonez's brother who came back to life after being declared clinically dead on multiple occasions. The brother finally died in 2004.
There's no word yet as to what role Val Kilmer will be playing but if the
tabloid pictures I've been seeing of him lately are to be trusted, it will likely be some form of novelty beach ball. That guy looks like he was one of the mice in that story Christopher Walken tells to the Rotary Club in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Except instead of falling into a bucket of cream it was a bucket of donuts. And instead of struggling to escape, he just ate them all.

Kilmer was 4"11 when he entered high school.
