Last night saw the season premiere of "South Park" on Comedy Central and as you might expect it was hilarious in a completely disturbing way. While the main storyline revolved around Cartman's paranoia that the Chinese are taking over the United States, the B-story followed the rest of the South Park kids struggling to overcome something terrible and scarring they saw earlier that summer - INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL.
I'm sure you've all heard the overused phrase by overzealous fanboys that a particular director "raped their childhood," but this episode takes that literally and the boys have post-traumatic stress after the movie and have flashbacks that highlight Steven Spielberg and George Lucas literally raping Indiana Jones. Yes, it's disturbing (especially the DELIVERANCE spoof). But it's also pretty damn funny. Below are three clips from the episode and you can head to South Park Studios now to watch the episode in full.

I'm a huge fan, but they are the ones that are f*ckin up their own show with doing episodes like this... what happend with having adventures that kids of that age have instead of dealing with grownup issues... all the time.

And to all the insulted [link] You have to live on. Indy would want you to! LOL

I was disappointed by this episode of South Park.
The rape scenes were my favorite part... and I loved Crystal Skull, I just thought the A storyline with Cartman and Butters was the weakest South Park storyline in many seasons. And there simply were not as many laughs as there were in a usual episode.
Almost all the jokes came from the Indy storyline and even there I respectfully disagree with Trey Parker and Matt Stone's opinion about the film.
In a way this episode was like Indy 4, it was good, but not nearly as good as how South Park usually is.

some of you guys DO realize that it wasnt even about whether the movie was bad or not, it just showed how stupid people are that say stuff like, "they raped my childhood with this movie". it basically was a stupid episode, and i love South Park, they basically state that Cartman's storyline was the token "i am a racist and have to stop somebody from doing something to America" type thing, i was kind of funny, the shooting was funnier but not much. the rape scenes were really funny but only at first, but the beginning was pretty good when we didnt know who got raped or what happened. personally, i thought Indy 4 was an OK film. it wasnt bad and certainly wasnt horrible...even if you hated it, that doesnt make it horrible. anyway, it had its moments but all in all, it wasnt a great episode by far.

Clearly I'm in the minority here, but I thought this was one of the worst South Park episodes I've ever seen. I thought it was painfully unfunny. To me, the episode contained two jokes (Indy rape and dick shooting) that I didn't think were funny in the first place, that were then beaten to death through repetition.
Before people jump on my case, I'll admit that I also disliked Indy 4 IMMENSELY. But this didn't mean we needed a half hour episode proclaiming this over and over. This episode brought nothing new to the table. I already knew Indy 4 sucked because I watched the movie myself. I already knew Cartman was a racist, because I've seen every episode of South Park. I already knew Matt and Trey disliked Lucas and Spielberg, because they ALREADY did an episode blasting them a while ago.
I actually enjoyed most of the first half of Season 12, so I was anticipating the start of the rest of the season. But, to me, this episode was like reading an IMDb message board on Indy 4. Matt and Trey just came across as a bunch of fanboys bitching about a movie, and I didn't find that engaging at all.
Their parody episodes have been some of the worst episodes of the series (I'm thinking the 300-styled episode.) They need to do more social commentary or the absurd comedy episodes. Stuff like this is where South Park is starting to lose it's touch for me.
Just viewing the last clip is living proof of how bad "South Park" is. How dare they insult Spielberg like that.

When I become a faamous screenwiter or producer, I'll remake "South Park" Juno-style, and the movie WILL BE either PG or PG-13.
And the whole "George Lucas raped my childhood" is completely fucked up. That's like an eight year-old kid saying "My mother/father raped me, and I loved every minute of it."
I stopped watching South Park when they exchanged their relevance for trashy TV.

yes, it was suppose to be insolting. And Indy 4 was terrible. Only people like butters like this stuff. I'm just curiouse to see what George and Steven are going to do. Sue SouthPark?

The movie was great and Spielberg didn't deserve to be part of this skit. Maybe Lucas but Spielberg has to go with whatever the script is and he did great with it. I know this is just supposed to be a quick funny bit ...

I grew tired of South Park back in season 4 and stopped watching. The show isn't about anything but shock value anymore. Sorry, but this pisses me off more than amuses me.
God bless

It was barely an adventure film. It was more a parody of the previous movies. CG prairie dogs and monkeys fighting communists, Indiana riding a fridge out of an atomic blast, riding a rocket car out of Area 51, following a catchphrase-mumbling autistic John Hurt, and side-switching Ray Winstone across a jungle while using a snake as a rope, and Lucas laughing to himself as Shia LaBeouf got hit in the crotch with various plants.
Funny to think the script by the director of Shawshank Redemption wasn't good enough for the guy who gave us The Phantom Menace, what we got instead of quality was a joke.
