Remember those rumors about Sandra Bullock working with Sly Stallone on his upcoming action flick THE EXPENDABLES? If so, forget all about it - ain't happenin. While Stallone was looking to reunite with his DEMOLITION MAN star it was sadly just a pipe dream. According to a spokesperson for the production company, the casting of Bullock was just "wishful thinking." But I mean was anyone really going to see THE EXPENDABLES to see Sandra Bullock? I don't know about you but I'm want to see Stallone, Jason Statham, Forest Whitaker, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and Randy Couture. The film, if you haven't heard, follows a group of mercenaries sent to South America to overthrow a dictator. Bullock has two upcoming movies, THE PROPOSAL and ALL ABOUT STEVE, neither of which feature any mercenaries nor any 80s action stars.
Extra Tidbit:
Another DEMOLITION MAN star, Wesley Snipes, was set to star in THE EXPENDABLES but had to drop out.
