Well we've got the new name and we've got the poster for the fourth RAMBO, so it's only right that they start the ball rolling on the next flick. Cinemablend is reporting today that they've heard from a scooper that Stallone is already in negotiations to make the fifth film, and my question is why the hell not? Who cares about branching out, testing your creativity, exploring your love of acting? Why bother, when you can continue to make RAMBO films? Pumping bullets into bad guys never gets old! Apparently this deal is part of a two-picture package that Stallone would have. And no, the other film wouldn't be RAMBO VI: STILL NO GUNS? TOLD YOU AIN'T CHANGIN' NOTHIN', it will be his long-gestating film about troubled writer Edgar Alan Poe, titled, simply POE. Still, this is all still just a rumor, but an interesting one at that. What do you guys think? Hungry for more RAMBO? Or should Sly put the character to rest, maybe make another ROCKY?

Extra Tidbit: Apparently, for RAMBO V Stallone wants to use an alternate screenplay that he wrote for RAMBO IV, which sees Rambo's daughter being kidnapped by cult leaders.

It doesn't bother me either way, for all I care they can make a Rambo 20 and a Scary Movie 25. it doesn't bother me at all. I don't have to see them.

Couldn't agree more with the comments before me...I will never get sick of Rambo movies. I love the first 3 and I am 99.9999% certain I will love the 4th - so a 5th is music to my ears!

Rambo Must Return For 5th Mission
This is the best news I've heard in a long while. Of course Rambo should be sent on a 5th mission. Look, there aren't any age issues here. Rambo is a man bred by his government to be a one-man army. Standing toe-to-toe with the world's baddies is in his blood. It wouldn't matter if he were 20, 40, or 80. As long as John Rambo is alive, he would fight for what he believes in or what can't ...
This is the best news I've heard in a long while. Of course Rambo should be sent on a 5th mission. Look, there aren't any age issues here. Rambo is a man bred by his government to be a one-man army. Standing toe-to-toe with the world's baddies is in his blood. It wouldn't matter if he were 20, 40, or 80. As long as John Rambo is alive, he would fight for what he believes in or what can't turn away from. Rocky is a professional fighter, so he has a finite shelf life in the ring. Therefore, I understand why his story must end. But you cannot tie the same handicap to Rambo, and after 20 years of lackluster wannabes trying to fill Stallone's action-star boots, I'm thrilled that he is rewarding fans with not just one, but two more installments in the life of one of the most iconic characters to ever blow up the silver screen. The first time was for himself, the second for his country, the third for his friend...This time AND the next is for his fans!

This is one person Tobey Maguire needs to learn from. Regardless of how good or bad the films were, are, and will be, Stallone is still making Rambo and Rocky movies. He isn't sitting around pouting about how he doesn't want to be typecast by continuing a character he has done 3 times already.

My Extra Tidbit - Before he became a household name Stallone walked my mother down the aisle as usher and bridesmaid. Small world huh?

About time for "Poe"
I remember that Robert Downey Jr. was going to star in "Poe" as Edgar Allan Poe.
I can't wait for it to finally get made, hopefully with Downey.

And on Rambo. Keep bring them on. I'll never get sick of Rambo movies as long as they star Stallone and he kills countless foreigners in each installment.
