Wow, I didn't even know there was a TRANSPORTER 3, but apparently not only is it in development, but it has just snagged itself a director in Olivier Megaton (RED SIREN). The film is scheduled to begin production next Summer. Casting is still underway but it is assumed that Jason Statham will play Jason Statham for like the fifteenth straight movie and suit up to play transporter Frank Martin once again. No word yet on the plot, but you can be pretty sure it will revolve around Statham being hired to deliver a package, getting pissed off and then taking down an entire criminal organisation. I hope Shu Qi somehow comes back for this one because I'm a little bit in love with her and that would go a long way towards convincing me to see this.
