Update: Rich Johnston's Lying in the Gutters column over at Comic Book Resources recently displayed what could be the grotesque side of Two-Face's mug. SPOILER, of course, if this is really what it looks like.

Aaron Eckhart, THE DARK KNIGHT The LA Times recently posted something of a treatise on THE DARK KNIGHT villain we've only glimpsed in quick cuts - Harvey Dent aka Two-Face. Played by Aaron Eckhart, we know that the character will be darker than any prior incarnations with a face much more grotesque than we can imagine. How does he fit into the actual story, though? Here's a cryptic answer from Eckhart: "The difference between Batman and Two-Face is how far they are willing to go and how they make their point." To find out what he's talking about, including some significant SPOILERS, go HERE. We'll see Harvey flip his chance coin on July 18th.

two-face is lookin great but i've always loved the joker and it sucks cuz they cant have him in the third,if only they could plot it right then maybe i mean the joker is a very versatile character.

to be honest I'd like to see Nolan's take on Mr.Freeze...he's one of my favourites and has an interesting story. but i doubt he's high up on the list of priorities..

I thought there was something off about this pic. I doubt it's from an actual completed shot, it may be concept. But in the trailer Dent is burnt/acid drenched (whatever) wearing a white shirt whereas in the 'alleged ...

The story will still be there and I don't think this will take anything away from the movie. As for the third movie I doubt Two-Face will be the only villain. I'm pretty sure that Nolan won't wrap up this franchise without bringing Catwoman to the mix.

funny :), well batman ,to me, has many psycological aspects to it(as do all its bad guys..), so a guy wanting to dress as a bat doesnt seem out of this world, its vigilantism...with a budget.

I think its more to do with it being grounded in realism, than actual being realistic, and this looks "real" compared to Tommy Lee Jone's makeup in Forever, for example.

I do hope that this is only slightly after he turns into two-face, and in the next movie he can get some insane looking two colored suits, and get his face fixed a lil bit.. I know Nolan hates all that hardcore comic book shit, but Two-Face without a multi-colored suit is just wrong... I'm not feeling the whole "burnt" suit thing at all opposed to two colors.
