Today, in honor of having exactly one year until the release of WATCHMEN, director Zack Snyder posted our first full look at five of the superheroes in costume on the film's official site. You get Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian, Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach and Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre. I'm sure most of you have tuned me out by now, but some pretty impressive stuff! I'd follow Snyder into a Rue McClanahan biopic at this point but what he's been able to do with this material really impresses me. Let's get a teaser trailer already!

Everyone one of 'em looks great, although I'm not quite thrilled with the "ears" on Nightowl...but hey, I'll take 'em. I'm just thrilled to be getting the greatest comic graphic novel ever made into a great movie.

Looks amazing. this shows the sucky superhero movies that with some time and a lot of dedication,preparation, they too can make an awesome movie that real fans and causal moviegoers will want to see, not just lemmings...

I mean, they do look really good. Especially so The Comedian, Rorschach, Ozymandias, and Silk Spectre II. Okay, so that's all of them except Nite Owl - he DOES look awfully Batman-ish, but I'd imagine the dark tone of the picture is adding to that, and he'll look more unique as we see more of him.

This is awesome. Seriously awesome. I just wonder what Doctor Manhattan will be like. Will he actually be a buck naked blue guy growing to gigantic proportions (ugh, that sounded awfully gay, lol).
