Seriously, no matter who plays Wonder Woman, we all know its going to suck a huge one. Joss Whedon couldn't make anyone like this one. The character is just far too linked to the 70s camp TV show, Batman could get away from it but Wonder Woman won't. She never have been able to.

Still, I don't support this decision with Katie Holmes. I actually don't support the movie at all. Whoever plays her will look weird on screen because of her costume and if there was a change with that there would be bitching everywhere. And frankly, she's just not interesting with pretty lame abilities and an invisible plane.

Instead, watch THE GIFT and tell me that Katie doesn't have the cans to get the "job" done.

And Monica Belluci is a figment. Well lit, well shot and has had a kid since THE MATRIX flicks, so forget looking like she used to (which wasn't something spectacular to begin with). Oh, and don't forget that she can't act either.

If she didn't look like such a bitch, I'd say that Megan Fox could do it. But extensive cover-up of the tattoos never really looks like they're covered up, so that's kinda blown too.

The main issue with the argument on this site is that most of the users are male. While comic books are intensively a male hobby, this is a character that resonated with women, mainly due to the popularity of the television show.

Whether or not the movie will succeed is largely based on women relating to the actress that they choose. It will have to be someone beautiful, but not threateningly so. Someone strong but not giving off the aura of being a total stuck-up bitch. It's a fine fence to straddle. Holmes might not be a perfect choice, but she's not an unreasonable one when you take into consideration her relatability with other women.
