THE SOLOIST must’ve been equally interesting to make as it was to watch since Jamie Foxx already optioned to flank Robert Downey jr once more, although this time in a more comedic way.
The actor is joining DUE DATE for director Todd Phillips. The film stars Downey as a stressed-out expecting father whose only chance of being home on time for the birth is to hitch a ride with Zack Galifianakis. Foxx hops in as a pal to RDJ and ex-lover to the pregnant mommy played by hottie Michelle Monaghan.
Filming gets underway in the next few weeks with a release set for November 2010. In the meantime Foxx has LAW ABIDING CITIZEN coming out this month. Will this be the first “good” Gerard Butler movie since 300?
