Call me Indiana

First, I have to say how amazing it is they've managed to keep this movie so secret. I hadn't heard a thing about this movie until I saw the trailer before "Transformers" earlier this evening. Keeping a movie secret like this is practically unheard of these days, what with the internet and all.
Secondly, the trailer is awesome. J.J. Abrams is equally awesome. "Lost" is one of the best shows on television, and I consider the pilot episode to be one of the shows best. I'm really looking forward to this movie and hope it remains as secret as they've been keeping it. The mystery has definitely got me intrigued! |

Nothing against the movie. But the teaser looked like a joke. It doesn't keep my interest at all. I know the look they were going for, I understand what they were doing and they did it. But for me personally, it did nothing at all. |

Saw it while working. Totally awesome, creepy and just plain awesome...Reminds me of the early Lost days and how the monster was presented. Very cool, but is Abrams directing? Or just producing? |

I think I may have been the only person in the massive theater who knew what was going on when that preview played before "Transformers," and I'm glad this didn't take me by surprise or else I may have been thinking about it too much. As has been said, the teaser is totally incredible, exactly the way it was described. I noticed a brief flash of credits at the very end, but it was too fast for me to see and I was a bit busy trying to tell my friends that it was a preview for "Cloverfield," as the title was never shown. I can't believe they managed to keep this secret! Congrats, Hollywood! Just make sure it follows through with awesome-ness. |

Just saw this trailer earlier in front of Transformers, and it's pretty damn awesome. Just like the Captain said before me, I was extremely intrigued. At first i thought it was some lame teen movie or something, but soon the explosion and roars changed that. Everyone in the theater was pissed when it ended so abruptly...it made me want to see the movie right then. |

HOPING TO SEE THIS
JJ is amazing. The pilot episode of Lost, the bridge scene in MI3. He knows how to make suspense and action and he knows how to make it continuous so you're always on the edge of your seat, giving you no room to breathe, but he does it so damn well. Very few people know how to do that. He is amazing, I wrote a short essay on him which got me into university :) thanks JJ! |

i'll bet the monster will be a huge black cloud with the sound of rattling chains foreshadowing his presence. |
