OPEN WATER: I have a friend that is really big into diving. After he saw this, on his next trip out, he walked over to the dive leader and slapped him in the face. When the dive leader asked him why, my friend responded; “so you won’t forget me”. So…yeah, this movie was disturbing.
MR. AND MRS. SMITH: I really like this movie and the trailer is one of the best. However, when I went back to re-watch it, I felt it dragged a little bit. Any time they aren’t shooting one liners or each other, I got bored. The novelty and hotness of Brangelina isn’t as exciting these days.
THE NOTEBOOK: Admit it; you cried when you first saw this. No need to act tough around here, it won’t fool anyone. I think the trailer makes it feel more epic than it actually was, but you can tell right away it’s going to be a tear jerker.
BEFORE SUNSET: Maybe I’m just a hopeless romantic, but I really want these two crazy kids to get together. If you haven’t seen these two films yet, I highly recommend getting this and BEFORE SUNRISE and making a night of it. It’s also fun to guess what they could name the third one.
BATMAN BEGINS: Oh yeah, there’s this one too. In case you forgot, this tells the story of Batman before the Joker. How soon we forget.
