help/faq

Q: How do I set a wallpaper as the background to my computer desktop?

PC users: Open the image in your web browser, right click on the image and select "Set as Wallpaper".

Mac users: (OS9) CTRL + click on the image to save to your hard drive. Under the Apple menu, open Control Panel/Appearance. Click on the Desktop tab and on the bottom right hand corner, click "Set Desktop". Choose the image you want to place on your desktop.

Mac users: (OSX): CTRL + click on the image to save to your hard drive. Under your System Preferences and click on the Desktop Icon. Drag the image you want to place on your desktop into the Current "Desktop Picture" thumbnail.

Q: Do you have any wallpapers for <insert movie name here>?

Search through our archives. If you don't see it posted to our site, that means that we are not aware of it being on the Net, so in response to your question "No, we don't have any wallpapers for that movie." If you know about a wallpaper on another site that we don't have here, visit our REPORT NEW WALLPAPERS/LINKS form and let us know about it.

Q: I noticed a broken link in your movie/celebrity wallpapers archives. How do I report it?

Visit our REPORT BROKEN LINKS form, choose either the MOVIE WALLPAPERS or the CELEBRITIE WALLPAPERS category and report the link which you found to be broken. We will look into the matter and attempt to fix it asap.

Q: I know about a great wallpaper that is missing from your movie/celebrity wallpapers section. How do I report it?

Visit our REPORT NEW WALLPAPERS/LINKS form, choose the WALLPAPERS category and let us know where we can find that wallpaper on the Net. We don't host most of the wallpapers ourselves, so please make sure that the wallpaper is available on another site, so that we can source the proper host and link to their wallpaper section.

Q: I've created a great wallpaper of my own and would like to submit it to your site. How do I do that?

First of all...do NOT email it to us!

Secondly, make sure that the wallpaper you created is in the proper format (generally .jpg), and represents one of the most popular resolutions on the Net (640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024). Thirdly, make sure that you are presenting us with either a movie or celebrity wallpaper. We don't archive any other type of wallpaper. Fourth of all, it's to note that we do not host most of the wallpapers ourselves, so if you've got a wallpaper that you want us to consider, please send us the URL of a site that is hosting it, so that we could check it out. How do you do all this? Visit our REPORT NEW WALLPAPERS/LINKS form and submit your creation.

Q: Where can I find other types of wallpapers, non-movie or celebrity related?

Visit our WALLPAPER LINKS section and enjoy.

Q: I've got a cool wallpaper website and want to trade links with you. How do I do that?

Visit our REPORT NEW WALLPAPERS/LINKS section and fill out the form with your information. We will check out your site and get back to you. A link-back is always required.
