Justin Timberlake When a rumor crops up that pop superstar man candy Justin Timberlake is looking to play the titular superhero in the upcoming comic adapted GREEN LANTERN, it's usually from a British tabloid looking to score some easy hits with a "what the fuck?" bullshit rumor (Cher as Catwoman, anyone?). But when grand daddy geek Harry from "Ain't It Cool News" is the one doing the rumor mongering, it's not quite as ridiculous. What's more, Harry's quick to point out that J. Tims has screen tested for the role and is being seriously considered, not that he's already signed on the dotted line. Still, though, he really shouldn't be a serious contender. No offense to Timberdog because he's proven himself to be quite a capable actor but this role needs someone who won't overshadow the character. What do you guys think?

Extra Tidbit: Timberlake's middle name is Randall.

personally... i think justin is a great entertainer... i've always been happy with whatever i've seen him in, he's great at singing and dancing obviously, and he's actually quite good at acting (alpha dog and southlan...

Lets face it, with some of the abysmal superhero films out there, i'd like to give this a chance and see what they can do.

this is a bad idea. They should get an unknown for the role. If Justin were to be casted, I bet he'd do fine, but he's still too big for something like this.
