You know Mindy Kaling best as Kelly Kapoor on "The Office," but if you're not paying attention during the first few minutes of the show, you might miss the credits at the bottom which say that she also writes a lot of the episodes, and is a co-executive producer to boot.

Her talents haven’t gone unnoticed, as she and her writing partner Brent Forrester have lined up their first big screen project for Mandate Pictures. It’s called THE LOW SELF-ESTEEM OF LIZZIE GILLESPIE, and is about a woman with no self-worth who only finds loser guys, until one day things change when she’s pursued by someone surprisingly hot.

Kaling isn’t starring (I'm picturing Tina Fey), but will be in a supporting role, and the movie is being backed by the team behind JUNO, who praise the duo as “the most comically endowed writers out there.” If someone told me I was comically endowed, I’d tell them to get the hell out of my bedroom. Zing!

I adore Mindy. Not only is she a writer, she writes the hands down best episodes. Ben Franklin, Diwali, the one where Todd Packer pinches a loaf in Michael's office, and she took the reins on the recent Wedding episode. She rules. And if you ask me, pretty easy on the eyes.

If I may continue with The Office theme, how about Ellie Kemper as Lizzie? I think she's about due for a lead role.

If The Office wasn't practically the most unfunny comedy on TV right now, I might actually be excited.

Steve Carrell is the only reason that show is still watchable. And even he can't keep this up much longer.

Seriously, The Office. Stop.

Personally, I have the opposite reaction. I find Steve Carrell's performance as Michael Scott to be the most cringe-worthy and unwatchable aspect of the show. He constantly says and does things that are so stupid, immature, and offensive that I find it more repulsive than funny. His character is unreal: he comes off as more of a caricature than a real person. Who acts like him? And how doe...

His character is unreal: he comes off as more of a caricature than a real person. Who acts like him? And how does someone who acts like him hold on to a job, much less one as a boss? I know it's a television show, but it is done in a documentary fashion. The writers and Carrell need to tone down that character and give him just enough competence to prove he deserves to be a boss (I don't care how much you hate your boss, I highly doubt many of them do the things Scott does on this show).
