I’ve heard exceptionally little about THE ADJUSMENT BUREAU, the Matt Damon/Emily Blunt thriller loosely based on a Phillip K. Dick short story. But now a trailer has debuted, and we get our first look at the adventure which is a bit like ETERNAL SUNSHINE meets DARK CITY with some of THE BOX thrown in for good measure.
Damon plays a man running for Senator who meets a lovely Brit played by Emily Blunt, but as he begins to grow attached to her, a group of shadowy figures in suspicious hats emerge and tell him that they are the ones who control the world’s destiny, or something like that, and he will ruin everything if he presues a relationship with her.
It’s kind of a wacky concept, but with Damon and Blunt along with John Slattery, Daniel Dae Kim and Terence Stamp, it could end up being pretty worthwhile. Watch below or head over to Yahoo! for HD.
