Rumor has it that the first trailer for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG will play before MAN OF STEEL. Well it seems that the rumors are true according to an exclusive from Emileeid.
The cool part is that not only will it be 2:30 minutes but it will also be a theatrical trailer rather than a teaser. I’m here for Evangeline Lilly. I already know to anticipate a long journey, epic battles, immense danger, and mystical music. These are all things I enjoy.
The trailer will premiere online for the internet masses on June 12th at 10AM PDT.
Synopsis: The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
