Ender's Game

ENDER'S GAME has received a lot of attention lately, and most of it hasn't been good. There are some people that think author Orson Scott Card's views on gay marriage will hurt the film, but I highly doubt it. Regardless of how I or anyone else feels about the issue, I don't think it's going to effect ENDER'S GAME performance in theaters. ENDER'S GAME could be a big hit or a giant flop, but that's going to be determined by the actual quality of the film and how well it has been marketed.

The first clip has arrived for ENDER'S GAME courtesy of Yahoo! movies, and it features Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) of the International Fleet speaking to the new recruits at Battle School. In the clip Graff talks about the war's history, including legendary hero Mazer Rackham, who is credited with turning the tide of the war after the initial attack by the alien forces.

There's also a new recruitment video for Battle School, and if you think you have what it takes to join International Fleet's school you can take the aptitude test here.

Battle School needs you!

After an alien race called the Formics attacks Earth, the International Fleet prepare for the next invasion by training the best young children to find the future leader to lead the International Military. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is pulled out of his school to join International Fleet and attend the legendary Battle School. After easily mastering the increasingly difficult war games, distinguishing himself and winning respect among his peers, Ender is soon ordained by Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) as the military's next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he's trained by Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) himself to lead the military into a war that will determine the future of Earth and the human race.

ENDER'S GAME is in theaters November 1st, 2013.
