Four new images from X-Men: Days of Future Past include Logan and Magneto

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Well, one thing is for sure about X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST: They aren't afraid to share some images. Granted, we'd all like to see a new trailer (like, yesterday), but there's been a steady stream of images and teases from the start of production up to now, which is a welcome change from the uber secrecy of so many other projects out there. I'm not saying we need to see every little damn thing, but a new image or two each month isn't going to kill the box office. Case in point, we've got four new images from the X-inbetweequel today, showing off some of the key players from the film, including hippie Professor X, bone-claw Logan, and both 70's Magneto and future Magneto (to accompany yesterday's similarly-themed shot).

Take a look:

Like most of you, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Sentinel's look in action, which has been under wraps since this sucker kicked off. And, it's understandable, especially since their inclusion in this film plays such a big role and is the first time we're seeing those mutant exterminators in a live action setting. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see Beast hurl Wolverine at one of those purple-clad robots and start "snipping wires." I just need a shot of Wolverine standing over a destroyed Sentinel with sparks and shit flying out. I don't think that's too much to ask. We'll see if I get it, though.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, directed by Bryan Singer, hits theaters on May 23, 2014.
