New release dates for several movies have been announced over at Box Office Mojo. The list includes a mix of ape action, spooky spirits, fake cops, and late-night museum shenanigans, so let's get right to it.

The untitled sequel to DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (PLANET OF THE APES 3) will be released on July 29, 2016. Matt Reeves recently signed on to direct the third film, and his DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES starring Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, and Judy Greer is scheduled to be in theaters on May 23rd, 2014.

The POLTERGEIST reboot directed by Gil Kenan (MONSTER HOUSE, CITY OF EMBER) and starring Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt will be in theaters on February 13th, 2015. The film will open against Sam Taylor-Wood's FIFTY SHADES OF GREY with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. Speaking of February 13th, the Nicholas Sparks adaptation THE LONGEST RIDE has been moved from that date to April 3rd, 2015, joining INSIDIOUS 3 and the sci-fi flick PASSENGERS.

The action comedy LET'S BE COPS starring Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans, Jr., and directed by Luke Greenfield (SOMETHING BORROWED, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR), will be released on August 15th, 2014. The film is about two buddies who decide to impersonate cops. LET'S BE COPS also stars Andy Garcia and Rob Riggle.

And finally, Fox has moved NIGHT OF THE MUSEUM 3 from Christmas Day to December 19th, 2014. The sequel to NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN just added Rebel Wilson to its cast last week, and Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, and Ricky Gervais will return for the third film. Also opening on December 19th is the ANNIE remake with Jamie Foxx and Peter Jackson's THE HOBBIT: THERE AND BACK AGAIN.
