NYCC trailer for The Evil Dead remake has leaked…blood, everywhere

Well, it was only a matter of time, I suppose.  Seems like THE EVIL DEAD remake trailer from NYCC is making the rounds and while we always prefer the official HD version, sometimes the anticipation is just too high.  In truth, it’s a credit to the film itself.  So, with that, we have the leaked trailer of THE EVIL DEAD in all its bloody splendor, which almost benefits from the bootleg feel.

Get some band-aids ready:

I don’t know…I’m a major fan of the original series, which will always stand on its own feet.  That said, after seeing this, I think there’s more than enough room to bring an updated new vision to the big screen.  This looks downright bloody nasty and that’s a damn good thing.  I know there will always be staunch haters and that’s fine.  That goes for any remake and I can dig it.  If someone remade DIE HARD, no matter how good that shit looked, I’d be up in arms well into its DVD release.  But, sometimes, I think things can come together.
