Summit Entertainment has set release dates for three of their upcoming films, and I'm sure the thought going through everyone's mind as they read the headline was, "Really? Another f*cking STEP UP movie?" Yes, the popular dance series is getting a fifth film, and it will be released on July 25, 2014. Series regulars Ryan Guzman, Briana Evigan, Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Misha Gabriel will be back for the 3D movie, and Trish Sie (who choreographed and created OK Go's treadmill video for "Here it Goes Again") will be behind the camera for STEP UP ALL IN.

GODS OF EGYPT starring Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Geoffrey Rush, Brenton Thwaites, and newcomer Courtney Eaton will be in theaters on February 12, 2016. The film from director Alex Proyas is about a thief (Thwaites) who forms an alliance with the god Horus (Coster-Waldau) against the evil Set (Butler) after the later kills Horus' father (who is also Set's brother), and becomes the ruler of Egypt.

The YA adaptation DIVERGENT doesn't hit theaters until March of next year, but Summit is hopeful that the film will launch a franchise similar to THE HUNGER GAMES. The second film's release was previously announced (March 20, 2015), and the third film is now set to hit theaters on March 18, 2016. The movies star Shailene Woodley and Theo James, and is set in dystopian future where people are divided into factions based on different human virtues like bravery and selflessness.
