We had a hell of a lot of fun last weekend, but if last week’s chat about the Marvel Cinematic Universe wasn’t enough for you, then you are going to love this week’s chat. This Sunday, we will be discussing the big new release of the weekend, Thor: The Dark World!
Your’s truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat for two years now and it’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon! Each week, we discuss either a movie, a series of movies, or something really damn awesome in the movies(like last week!). Like a great Scotch, it has only been getting better with age.
All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username and password. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.
And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. It’s meant to be fun. Directly insulting someone and/or trolling people will get you kicked from the chat.
After last week’s all-encompassing chat, it’s kind of nice to go back to something a bit more intimate. And by intimate, I mean world-destroying battles between various god-like beings! While I dug the first movie, Thor: The Dark World looks to be going over the top with the amount of carnage going on. And I am all for it!
