Cap is back!
One of the most hotly anticipated Marvel films in the Phase Two line up has finally arrived! CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, once again starring Chris Evans as the star-spangled "man out of time" is the third appearance of Evans as the titular hero after CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER and THE AVENGERS. This time, Cap is trying to acclimate to present-day America and find his place in a "brave new world" while still working for the shady government agency S.H.I.E.L.D. Partnering with teammates Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and new friend Sam Wilson aka The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Cap finds himself at odds not only with his modern-day mentor, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), but also new and lurking threats, including a blast from the past, The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), who disrupts everything he has come to know. With a terrific supporting cast, including Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Frank Grillo, etc., along with directors Anthony and Joe Russo, this entry in the MCU has been long-touted as the cinematic rival of THE AVENGERS in terms of size, scope, and action.
