100s of new TMNT pics!

Russian site Kino Govno has come across well over 100 new hi-res stills from the upcoming CGI-animated Ninja Turtles movie TMNT. To be quite honest, it looks pretty good if not quite to the level of something Pixar, Sony or Fox's BlueSky would put together. I do wish they could've done this type of thing back when TMNT was really hot. I waited on line for hours to see the original film and it was pretty awful. This movie - which features the voices of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Chris Evans and Patrick Stewart - at least allows the flexibility of doing more with the characters than foam suits allows. Check out the whole massive gallery by clicking on the pics below.

Very cool pics. I even like how in the second photo of Splinter checking out the wall of items, they reference the original 3 films by having the canister that had the ooze in it, Shredder's mask and the time traveling scepter...thing...all cool and subtle too!

awesome

The pictures are great. I have to agree with the previous posters that the earlier films were great. Watching them as a child was pure enjoyment for me. I recently saw one of the movies on tv again and I still had fun watching it. Hearing that this new film would be CGI, I was a bit upset. Live action is just how these movies should be made. But I'll give this one a try and if it's as great and as funny as the others, then I'll be there opening night.

I DISAGREE!

The first two films were anything BUT awful! How could you use the word awful to describe such a priceless film?! This was back when kids movies actually had BALLS. It was all dark and gritty and VIOLENT.
