I thought Brokeback was good, but 2005 best movie? I have not seen Capote, but Crash and Munich are on differnt level. They were thought provoking, well made, great acting, great stories and all around better. Good Night and Good Luck was also a great movie but not good enough to be the winner. Brokeback will end up winning but I cannot find any reason why.

C'mon Crash!

It sucks that Brokeback will most likely win. It's a bad sign if I see a trailer for a movie and the first words out of my mouth are "Best picture 2005" and I'm right. Crash deserves this Oscar. I find its topics more relevant, the acting is incredible, the story's narrative is original, and the script is great. It pisses me off that this won't win.

Brokeback Mountain

I've seen all the films on this list except Capote, and Munich is the best of the bunch, but unfortunately Brokeback will win, great topical film, but not the best film.

What's wrong with Munich?

Brokeback will most likely take it, but I just don't understand why no one seems to like Munich. Wish Capote could somehow pull it off though, excellent film.

Brokeback Mountain will likely win, but I'd love to see Crash take home the Best Picture statuette.
