Sarah & Freddie live Happily

Jan. 15, 2002by: Mike Sampson

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. will lend their voices to the next animated feature from the creator of SHREK, John H. Williams.  The film, titled HAPPILY N'EVER AFTER, is loosely based on the old Brothers Grimm tales and follows a young woman who is unhappily involved with the Prince, and her unknown true love, who washed dishes at the palace.  Sigourney Weaver has also joined the cast as the evil stepmother to Gellar's character.  The project is being produced by Williams' Vanguard Films and is currently being shopped to interested studios.  A summer 2003 release has been pencilled in. I have a lot of Freddie Prinze jokes I'd like to rattle off here but I'll save them for another time.
