The Da Vinci Code - November 14

So sue me. I thought Da Vinci would perform way better than it did, that's why I put it in my top 3 in the JoBlo.com staff's "Summer Box Office Pool". I also put three grand down on the Washington Generals against the Harlem Globetrotters, so maybe guessing a movies' box office success and gambling isn't my thing. But my mother always said, "If at first you don't succeed, try again." That's why she had three other kids after me. The bitch.

Home Alone (SE) - November 21

I really hate this movie. It totally negated Joe Pesci pistol whipping Billy Batts in Goodfellas. But every time this comes on during Christmas, I have to watch it. Oh, I'm so conflicted. Not just with me liking/hating this movie, but with me liking/hating Jessica Simpson. As comedian Dave Attell said, "I have a Jessica Simpson fantasy. It goes, 'Jessica, hold your sister Ashley so I can kick her in the throat.'" I concur, David.

The Sopranos' (S6) - November 7

Be on the lookout for some audio commentaries, episodic previews and recaps, and a featurette. After a billion years in between seasons (okay, it just feels that way), we had to wait a whole season of Vito and Johnny Cakes to see some, ahem, action. As in killing. Apparently, there will be a half a season sometime in early January and then it'll all be over. Personally, I think the Sopranos' lost its punch somewhere in the fourth season. Or was it fifth? Who cares.

That's My Bush - October 24

If you blinked, you missed Trey and Matt's satirical rip on formulaic sitcoms and TV in general. Also, some guy named Bush. But here it is with a Mini Audio Commentary by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Full Commentaries from Timothy Bottoms, Carrie Quinn Dolin and cast, Deleted Scenes and Bloopers, and a Photo Gallery.

It's not like buying a DVD set, its like buying a TV. HBO

What a rip. The Sopranos should have waited for the full final season and just added 30 bucks to the price, instead we'll get one extended season for the price of 2 full ones, great thinking HBO, treating us to half a season, how nice. Anyone who doesn't own the Sopranos sets should wait for a series set. That's the only way I'll even buy any HBO show, but even then not until they go down in price, I mean Jesus people, $250-300! I'd buy a video game console first, especially since I've seen

I'd buy a video game console first, especially since I've seen every episode of all the good shows anyways. I'd hate to really want one of their shows on DVD if I already order HBO monthly, because man they'd be sticking it to me good and hard. Luckily Bittorrent and Limewire are very cheap places to visit
