The Latest Announcements

The Doors (SE) - December 12

Lion's Gate is really pushing anniversary editions as of late, and that's all gravy with me because at least they've been cool ass flicks. Following up on the heels of the 15th Anniversary Edition of Reservoir Dogs, comes another anniversary special edition. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to get drunk on Thanksgiving, Morrison style. I want you to get all Morrisoned out, jump up on the Thanksgiving dinner table (the main table, not the kid table) whip your dick out and yell, "Break on through...OW......OH YEAAHHHH!" Report back here on Friday.

  • Newly remastered 2.35:1 Widescreen Theatrical Version
  • English DD5.1 EX & DTS-ES 6.1 Surround
  • English & Spanish subtitles
  • New, rare, one-on-one interview with world renowned filmmaker, Oliver Stone
  • 2 All New Documentaries entitled The Doors in Los Angeles and The Jim Morrison Phenomena in Paris
  • The Road To Excess Documentary
  • 43 minutes of additional scenes

Jackass Number Two - December 26

Wow! 16 Deleted Scenes and 29 Additional Scenes for a total of........I can't add, I went to public school. Can you imagine what DIDN'T make it in the final cut. Can't wait to see that shit. I made the mistake of attempting to listen to the commentary track for JACKASS: VOLUME 1, which was basically nine drunk guys laughing and talking about getting hurt. Snooze but what else could expect?

Extras on both editions:

  • Commentary by Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Jeff Tremaine, Dimitry Elyashkevich
  • The Making of Jackass Number Two
  • 16 Deleted Scenes
  • 29 Additional Scenes
  • 9 TV Spots
  • 8 Promotional Spots
  • Bloopers/Outtakes
  • Karazy Music Video (unblurred version)
  • Photo Gallery
  • Theatrical Trailer
  • VMA Spots
Additional Extras on Unrated Edition:

Full Screen Edition

Unrated Edition

Hollywoodland - February 6

The only thing we have to report on the HOLLYWOODLAND DVD is that it'll be 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks as well as a seperate HD DVD release so you can pinpoint the exact location where Ben Affleck's hair line ends and the wig begins. Stay tuned for specs as they are released.

"....and that's where you'll be, and then Ben Affleck's wig will be like right here, see?...."

"I got an itch; let me the f*ck out of here!"

A Fish Called Wanda(SE) - OUT NOW!!!

After much hub bub and delay, the focker is finally being released. Is it possible that we can petition Kevin Kline to do more comedies? Love that guy! By extension of that, can we petition is wife, Phoebe Cates, to recreate the pool scene in FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH? Love that girl! Read Quigles review of this Special Edition HERE. Buy it HERE

Accepted - OUT NOW!!!

Justin Long has a lot of potential to become a great actor. While I hated the movie WAITING, I thought what he did with the role was both funny and had some "realness" to it. Also, he's balls out hilarious as a doctor in the flick IDIOCRACY. Check out Scooter Weinberg's review of the ACCEPTED DVD HERE, buy that shit HERE.

Looking for Kitty - OUT NOW!!!

Holy f%ck! I had no f*cking idea, until writing this thing, that this was ANOTHER f*cking Ed Burns flick. I'm gonna spare you my f*cking continuous Ed Burns hate filled rants because even I'm f*cking sick of them. LOOKING FOR KITTY actually sounds like it should be the sequel to NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY. Jason "Happy Hour is the finest Hour" Adams reviewed the DVD HERE. Buy that shit HERE. Oh yeah, f*ck.

Extra Tidbit: Happy Thanksgiving!
